solar button "Einstein"

By order of the "Solarstiftung" in Ulm the company quantys has developed the "Solar Button" for their jubilee of 10 years of age.

The "Solar Button" was packed in cans for sale and were offered by the city council of Ulm or via internet for a price of EUR 10,00.

Technical details:

• Behind the Plexiglas cover of the Solar Button you will find a monocrystalline solar module.
• The function of the solar module is both brightness sensor for the automatic illumination and supply of energy.
• The solar module has a capacity of 375 mW.

A lithium-button-cell battery is for energy storage. The capacity of the rechargeable battery is 4 hours. The recharge of the battery will be done automatically. For recharge the "Solar Button" needs sunlight.
